Poster that informs the public about particulate matter, visualizing the composition and sources as well as its effect on our health and the necessary call to action. Daring task since particulate matter is not visible to the human eye, any visual representation is fictive. But how can this still be relatable?
Visualization 2: Fictional representation of fine dust surrounded by its material composition.
Visualization 3: The sources of particulate matter, to be found in both PM10 emissions and PM2.5 emissions and a representation from which sectors those sources come.
Visualization #4 on the poster: What about the air quality of Brussels compared to other European cities? With its 14th place, Brussels is doing better in the fight against air pollution than other capitals Dublin, Madrid, Rome and Lisbon, but worse than Amsterdam, Paris and London.
